Nana and Gramps come to town

As always, the blogging is lagging behind but we'll catch up, if only because we keep leaving our camera at people's houses so cannot take any pictures! 8) Nana and Gramps came to visit us in DC en route to Cincinnati. It was, of course, great to see them- Alex asked Nana and Gramps not to leave and since they have left has asked when they will come back, or when we will go to their house. Now, for some strange reason, there aren't a lot of pictures from their visit.

Nana and Gramps stayed in the "guest suite" of our building, which is a 1BR apt that they furnish and rent out to guests of residents. It was incredibly convenient- Alex enjoyed going downstairs in his PJs to visit them.

Nana went to Alex's school, so for the first time, we actually got to hear about what the kids did in school all day! It sounds great! Of course, we were particulalry interested in what Nana had to say because she used to own and run a Montessori school. Alex and Nana had a good time at school and Alex has requested that she come back to school with him again.
