Last days at the cape

whew- way late, lots of pics... the last few days we moved over to the Gelsey-Ryan house and stayed with Andrew, John, Ruth, Katherine and Ellie. We had a great time hanging out with them. Of course we all went out to Nauset for big waves and the onion rings. We spent some time at Oyster Pond, Alex had his swimming class with the lifeguards. He kind of enjoyed it, it looked like so much fun with all the games on the beach and in the water but Alex was so reluctant to get his face wet- or let go of us. Anyway, here are the last cape pics (for now)- we still have to post pics from NYC, the birthday, DC fun, our trip to NH, seeing the Drapers, Christine's wedding and... the first day of school! 8) so more postings to come- just as soona s we wade out from under the thousands of pics.

OH! the updates- Alex turned 3 on Aug 12, we were in NYC, this year he celebrated his birthday over and over again, with family at the cape, in NYC, with Caryn, Joe and Jasper, in DC with his friends... amazing. Rory is doing fantastically (for lack of a better word). Both kids went to the pediatrician and given clean bills of health, Rory followed with her surgeon, again, clean bill of health. He wants to see her again when she turns 1 and if all goes well, says he won't need to see her until she turns 2! He said her chances of developing enterocolitis etc are pretty low... basically zero. The pediatrician told us to start feeding her table food so now she's eating like a champ, cheerios, chicken, chick peas, cucumber (we're doing only c foods.... just kidding), avacado, rice cakes... we put it in front of her, and she eats it.

ok, so the pics....
