The G'Island

I know, this is a month after the fact- but it was fun and we have good pics! Promise to get the first day of school stuff up soon. Birthday pool party posting limited due to paucity of pictures- sorry- but some great hiking pics coming too.

We spent a couple of days with Caryn, Joe and Jasper out on the Island. Alex ALWAYS has a good time hanging out with Jasper (Alex really would have preferred us to come home with a big brother rather than a baby sister....). There are lots of great toys at Jasper's house, they got to play in Shanty-town (see following pics) and make snow (by crumbling styrofoam), making and decorating a birthday cake and Long Island Children's museum among other fun activities.

Jasper and Alex had a great time chasing balloons
rory enjoyed playing with the castle
alex used to play with it (actually he also played with it) grown-ups wonder how quickly the batteries will die...
