christine and david's wedding

It's only fitting to include the pictures of sailing and of Alex on the climbing wall Christine and David rented along with pictures of their wedding and reception. Actually, not many pics of the wedding and reception b/c the pics didn't come out well (the flash just wasn't strong enough and we were chasing a rowdy, rambunctious 3 yr old around...)
The day started off with a little drizzle, but then it cleared up and the wind was calm, so Peter and Alex went sailing on a sunfish- they were out for about an hour or so... Alex enjoyed the pulleys... and then of course, climbing.
As indicated, Christine and David rented a climbing wall- it was great- Alex loved it. He didn't want to come down. We eventually convinced him to come down and have lunch but right after lunch he was climbing once more. When he was so tired that he was just dangling in the air... he went for his nap and awoke to get dressed for the wedding ceremony.
We all swanked up for the occasion (it's been a while) the ceremony was great, of course. Then there was a HUGE downpour (some hurricane effect)- someone found a gigantic piece of plastic that people ducked under to walk to the reception. It was held up in the middle by a giant broom- the plastic made three trips from the ceremony hall to the reception hall. We thought it was so much fun- Alex, of course, had a blast. The great thing about all of this was that everyone was together for the dinner and the party afterward- which included Karaoke. Such a super fun wedding!
Alex had such a good time at the wedding he's been asking to go to another wedding!
