Alex and Rory: Alex and Rory

Those two kids... they're great. As you may have noticed in the pictures- Rory is still bald and toothless, and on the small side. The other day she was crawling and cruising around the Jim Henson exhibit and someone thought she was an extraordinarily precocious 4 month old! Well... she's got teeth! One erupted Fri night Sept 26th while bored with the McCain/Obama "debate". Her second little pearly white made its sharp debut Mon the 29th- Jasper's birthday and the amazing 778 point plummet of the stock market- she's unfazed by the hullabaloo- just cutting her teeth and waiting. She's excited by teeth... and EATING and oh boy- looking forward to figuring out how to use her teeth to eat!

Alex and Rory are getting along well. Rory is always so interested in everything Alex does... she likes to sing along with him, play music, eat his trains and grab them as they go along the tracks. Alex of course gets frustrated, but is also very patient and wonderful, he gives her other toys to play with, he tries to show her other things to do and he does try to play with her (he's pretty good at cooperative play but Rory appropriately is not). It's so sweet to watch.
