Quick Update

So... Alex continues to be sick. Poor boy he wants us to be home with him while he feels miserable and acts out his frustration by hitting us and then bursting into tears. Or he wants to sit on our lap, get picked up and once we do he smacks us and cries. So frustrating and confusing for him. Nana left for home this morning- I'm not sure what we would have done if she weren't here during all of this- particulalry since everyone has been sick! Sadly, she probably left with the bug. Jill is slowly recovering from her illness and has come by to lend a hand with Alex and drop off food. The grandmas have been real troopers!
Rory lost a little more weight this morning and this afternoon her GI doctor put her back on Neocate at a higher rate than before to allow Rory to catch on up calories and weight (she's at her weight from 3 weeks ago). Her incision sites are healing well, she's having more awake and alert periods and is looking good. It looks like she will be able to come home tomorrow (cross your fingers!)
