Glorious Spring Days

Yesterday, the weather was fabulous- warm and sunny, flowers, blossoms and chirping birds everywhere. We told Rory she picked the perfect time to come home, she got to miss most of winter... We went to the library in the morning and Alex announced that it was too crowded and he would rather go eat a muffin. Then we went to the playground and he asked to see his friends and was upset when we told him they were in school or sick. He wound up not napping at all and was very wound up when Rachael came over. We all went over to Mitchell Park and met up with Noah and Eitan. Alex was so excited to see some friends, he ran over to Noah to give him a hug. Noah was so sleepy, he said, "I'm still sleepy from my nap." 8) Thankfully, Eitan was excited to see Alex. Alex and Eitan actually threw the ball back and forth to each other for a good five minutes or so. He also played with mulch and chalk and dirt so Rachael had to give him a quick bath when thy got home!

Today was another glorious spring day. Alex spent part of the morning at Glen Echo Park with Lila and Jill while Rory got vaccinated and weighed. Who do you think had more fun...? In the afternoon we played with paint on the balcony and then went to Kalorama where Alex had a great time with Eitan!
