Amazing how many legs you can fit into a swing

We napped through the Cleveland Park Halloween parade but met up with friends at the playground before going to Joiwind, Amit, Lila and Aloe's house for a Halloween bash.

Emmitt as superman

Nana and Gramps (Peter's parents) were in town for Alex's first trick or treat. Alex sat on the steps and explained to Nana the process of trick-or-treating before we set off. He very carefully explained to her that he would go to the door and go "knock knock" and the people would open the door and he would say, "trick or treat" and the people would give him a treat.

Alex had a lot of fun running down the street in his costume with friends on their way to trick or treat.

Checking out his pumpkin (always check your equipment...!)

Getting ready to go... friends Tess, Lila and Emmitt

Owen, the lion

Go up to the door and go, knock knock...

Alex held onto a kit-kat bar (that he has yet to eat) the entire time he was trick-or-treating and when told he could pick a treat and put it in his pumpkin he would just look at people and wave his (very melted) kit-kat bar. He didn't get a lot of treats...

At the last house of the evening, Lila the bunny, Tess the ladybug, Alex the Octopus and Owen the lion.

Look at all those legs moving! Run roaring octopus, run!
