Haircut and Rainy days

There were a few days of rain- we kept ourselves well occupied- hanging with friends and taking care of business- like getting Alex's haircut. We found someone who does a great job cutting kids hair- she has a son a few months younger than Alex. Alex very patiently holds his monkey, sucks his thumb, brushes the hair bits off of monkey through the process. After his haircut, we went to the store to buy him a raincoat and boots. We found a great frog raincoat and matching boots that he loves. Alex enjoys walking in the rain and jumping in puddles- Splash!
Snazzy outfit eh?

Some friends came over to play one rainy morning- we decorated pumpkins with paint markers and stickers. We found some plastic push-in pieces but it was too difficult for these two-year-olds to push them into the pumpkins, so we stuck with stickers. Here are Aliza and her son Emmitt (you can't see their faces), Irene and Milo, Eitan and Jerome, Alex and Peter, Oscar and Emily. The little siblings were also here but not in this pic.
Alex hanging from the jungle gym at the Mitchell street park (S street park) later that same afternoon.
Noah sliding across over the ravine- yeeha!
Alex and Eitan, thick as thieves... snacking.
