NYC - Lee family dinner

Well, we are in NYC visiting family. Today Andrew & Alice came over in the morning and the four of us went to a local fancy food store to get some organic whole milk for Alex, then went down to the basement of Pat & Bart's apartment building. There's a 'community room' down there, which is filled with big toys for kids (3 trikes, 2 cozy coupes, several big structures with slides, balls, dollhouses, play kitchens, tumbling mats, etc.) Alex played for an hour or so, then ate lunch and napped until 4 or so, followed right away by a little skype-ing with Angela, then off to dinner with the whole Lee family at Ollie's. Alex seemed overwhelmed by Ollie's and all the people at our table that he hasn't seen in awhile, and he didn't eat any of his food except rice and a few bits of fortune cookie. Crazy baby. I think maybe next time we should go somewhere with fewer people & less noise!

Mrs. Lee gave Alex a tambourine and one of those drum-like things that you spin in your hand to make little beads bead the drum heads. He's going to like those a lot - and she got him a book, too, which he always loves!

Oh, and Alex turned 15 months today! We are declaring him a toddler now - no longer a baby - b/c he walks more than he crawls at this point.
