The artiste!

Weds was a cold, gray, rainy November day. We spent the early morning together, Alex made a beautiful work of art now proudly displayed on our refrigerator. He wore his black turtleneck today but had trouble snapping his fingers...

Afterwards, Laura came over and they had a good time though Alex did not want to nap. We made a quick trip to Ikea to buy Alex a baby sized chair. I'd like to get him a bean bag chair which I think he would enjoy flopping down on and reading. He loves to back into laps to be read to, but he also likes to read to himself.
Thanksgiving, Angela worked, Alex got to hang out with Peter and Jill. He had a good time.

Alex has been telling amusing anecdotes about his day as he lies down to go to bed at night. We hear him talking and laughing, giggling and talking some more. We think he's very excited about drawing, reading, his chair, playing with Grandma Jill- he's very interested in cooking and the Turkey... perhaps he'll get to work with Uncle Allan making chocolates...
