Nice morning walk in the fog today. After first nap, we just played around the yard and inside for awhile. After the second nap, we took a walk (with gramps) out to the ocean (gramps didn't go quite that far - he had to leave to go pick up nana at the bus station.) The tide was high and the waves were very dramatic. Then I walked back to a protected area & let Alex play in the water for awhile. See a video of that here, including a bit of standing-up action.

Then we walked to the Gelsey/Ryan house, where friends of the Gelseys are staying for a few days. Alex played with abbey's two young boys, then we went home. Alex took a short bath in the blue bucket that we usually use to rinse sand off our feet after coming back from the beach. The water in it was nice & warm from the sun, and he seemed to have a great little bath! An idyllic day, really.
