PONY RIDE!

So, rather than having horseback riding lessons (expensive and fully booked)- we took the kids on a pony ride at the Rock Creek Horse Center. Alex rode on Scooby and Rory rode on Chia. We were told that Scooby would get a little spooked at times, but was very sweet with soft curly fur. Chia is descended from the Chincoteague wild horses. The kids rode the ponies through the woods and had a great time. We were hoping this would whet their appetite... but Alex was very disappointed the pony ride ended and wants to know when he can have lessons.
