The weather has been warming up! We made the most of the warm weather with a super busy weekend. Saturday with fun at Hamilton Park with Captain Silly Bones- a pirate magician! Followed by a movie matinee at Rory's school- all with good friends Nico, Quincy, Lila, Aloe and Kai. Sunday the weather was beautiful. Peter put together the grill, Angela, Alex and Rory planted some seeds- Sunflowers, tomatoes and strawberries. When we get a chance we will be putting in our garden and planting more seedlings- we've been saving yogurt containers all winter long!
Then we rode bikes to the playground, followed by an overly long stint in the car with an aborted trip to Kalorama/Walter Pierce in our old hood. Due to lack of parking, the kdis got tired and wanted to go home. We had a picnic in the yard followed by a fun messy fingerpaints on a giant plexiglass window (yay freecycle). We're going to need a lot more fingerpaints around here...
We love warm weather! Hooray!
