Arboretum

It's s much warmer in DC the leaves turn much later than in the Northeast. In fact, the leaves "peaked" this past weekend- Nov 7/8. Crazy eh? Angela worked on Sat- Peter, Alex and Rory went to the farmer's market, then met up with Grandma Jill for a few hours. Then Peter, Alex and Rory met up with Jerome, Leora, Eitan and Amalia as well as Erin, Noah and Max. Everyone came over, had an early dinner (kids), watched a movie and ate popcorn. Sunday we went to Eitan's house for breakfast then decided to go to The National Arboretum. It was beautiful out! Sunny, cool, the leaves were beautiful. Alex and Eitan had a great time playing together around the National Columns (or the recessionist's Greek vacation) and Rory and Amalia enjoyed exploring leaves, clover and grass together (hmmm). More friends arrived just as we were getting ready to head home for naps, so, sadly, we missed hanging out with Emmitt and Zoe.
