Arrived at the Cape!

A very late post! We made it to the cape after a brief pit-stop in Providence at John, Jeanette, Luca's house for a quick bite and running around before the final leg. The Lighthosue Beach (South beach?) is of course different this year. Last year there was a pond of sorts with a "river" that flowed between it and the ocean. The kids loved it. This year the pond is cut off and there is no connecting river. We enjoyed walking around lighthouse beach and have been spending more time at other beaches where there are lots of kids. Oyster Pond and Walter's Beach (??) which we discovered is so incredibly convenient from Nana and Gramps house. The paved road goes right to the sandy area and the walk to the actual ocean is really short . So we can haul all the stuff in the stroller!
