Boo at the zoo

Alex getting ready to go to Boo at the Zoo, he's got his Octopus costume and he's pushing an octopus in his little stroller- ahhh, happiness! 8)Owen, the lion and Alex, the Octopus waiting to go intot he zoo- lots of kids, tons of great costumes!

Kieran (Owen's little brother) dressed as a penguin- slept through most of Boo at the Zoo. That's okay, not sure he wanted the treats... we'll eat them for him!

We met up with friends but got separated in the dark night and the crowds. From left to right- Alex- Octopus, Lila- Bunny, Emmitt- Superman, Tess- Ladybug, Owen- Lion.
Alas, our camera ran out of battery power and we have no more pictures- but adorable scenes were rampant! We walked into a giant tiger mouth and walked through its "insides" where we saw chickens and other food and we walked, the tiger gave a big burp, then we walked out the tiger's bottom under its tail. The next morning Alex was talking about the tiger burp.

We also went to the elephant stomp where the elephants were given pumpkins which they carried around. One elephant stepped on a big pumpkin and it made a boom sound (Alex will tell you "Alex heard the loud noise when the elephant stepped on the pumpkin") and then he ate the pumpkin.
Alex is very much looking forward to wearing his costume again (he's asked to wear it every day) and march in a parade...
