Dog, and Oscar's birthday
The big news is, of course, that Angela left for two weeks last night - off to Ethiopia. Alex says 'mamas theopia', which is pretty close. We went to the airport with her, ate an afternoon snack with her, and pretty much stayed in the airport until it was 6 pm and time to get him home & into bed. Alex was a bit upset when we were saying final goodbyes, but then he saw a drinking fountain & was distracted.
Unfortunately, I didn't get good pictures at Oscar's party this morning, but...at least I got pics of Alex with this dog in front of Starbuck's:
