Rocking the night away

So Peter and Alex are in California staying with Nana and Gramps and getting to see the Harrisesesesssss that are out there while I am in China.

I received the most lovely email from Susan aka Nana who said, "Great smiles for me when I saw him in the airport terminal last night and constant chatter on the way home, until he succumbed to exhaustion, clutching his ever-faithful monkey. :) Today has been chock-full, as you can imagine, with Alex discovering various interesting things to do... from watching the birds to exclaiming about the water fountain.. climbing in the rocking chairs, exploring the different "feel" when walking on the exercise mat, loading stuffed animals into various containers, etc. What a lot of growth in his abilities, just in these few weeks since we visiting in DC! He's a delight!"

Via Skype Alex has been exactly as decribed, full of explorative energy, and of course, the cutest baby in the world. I can't wait to come home and hang out with my boys rather than virtually though if it weren't for this video conferencing I would be heartbroken, out of touch and miserable, rather than sad and missing them lots. So here's Alex via Skype!
