Back to dc

NYC was great - last night we got to hang out with Kate for a few hours, and she gave Alex a set of blocks and a tub toy that he's going to like a lot. This morning the Lees (well, Andrew, Alice, and Mrs. Lee) came over before we left. Mrs. Lee got him a nice sweater - we'll have to get pictures of that sometime!

Alex and I met up with Caroll & Ruby, friends of ours from DC who moved to Brooklyn a few months ago, on our way out of NYC.

You can get Ruby to smile, or Alex to smile, but not both at the same time:

When we got back, we went straight to the park b/c we knew that Tamra & Tess would be there to play! Nice weather in DC (rained while I drove, though.)
